Major Responsibilities

Office manager, Secretary to Director of the School of Social Work, faculty support including scheduling, textbooks, budget review and preparation, supervisor and training of student assistants, staff coordinator for field projects, BSW program and admission, coordinate adjunct faculty process, department and student travel, all payroll/KRONOS issues, and Americorps coordinator.

Professional Activities

Employee of the Year - The Marriott School in May 2000.

Member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars

Personal Interest

Jean is married with two grown daughters.  One daughter lives in the Lehi, Utah area.  She is a stay-at-home-mom with 4 small, active children.  Jean's second daughter lives in the Salt Lake City area and is working for IHC while pursuing a masters in elementary education.  Jean enjoys knitting, crewel embroidery, reading, computer projects, gardening and being a student and employee of BYU.  She also enjoys music and singing in the choir.

Major Responsibilities

Graduate Secretary, assisting students through all phases of graduate school -- application, admission, program of study, and graduation.  Also is the self appointed entertainment chairman for the School.

Professional Activities

Advocate for childhood cancer research and Aspergers Syndrome; Springville City Parks Board member; former legal secretary.

Personal Interests

Lisa loves to spend her time with her husband, Neil, and their two children Aliesha and Dustin. Her church calling for the past 10+ years has been working with the scouts.  Working part time at BYU allows her time to enjoy (sometimes) cooking, family history, and unfinished projects. Lisa reads a book or two each month, thanks to books on CD from the public library.  She is a member of an exclusive group - the 5% of the eligible US population that actually donates blood.
