Mission Statement
Welcome to the home of the Family Home and Social Sciences Research Support Center (RSC). This
site is dedicated to educating faculty, staff, and students of the FHSS College of the opportunities
that you have to get help with faculty or mentored research projects, class research projects, and
any other research or statistically related problem that you may have. Additionally this site provides
some guidelines and tips for creating a professional research design and contains examples of how to
perform basic analyses on your data using statistical software available in the open-labs on campus.
Here in the RSC, we are dedicated to providing you with expert advice on what kinds of statistical
methods you should use for your particular study and to providing the time necessary to work with
you to perform those analyses and interpret their results properly. Also, we provide one-on-one
training when requested for those seeking to learn how to perform basic analyses in SPSS, SAS, or
STATA.
Scope
We offer the following services free to those associated with the FHSS department:
- Consultation over the phone
