Research
-
Research examines the influence parents have on the financial wellbeing of the next generation. Examined is the degree to which children observe and absorb attitudes and behaviors from the prosaic financial processes embedded in their home and family life such as: spending or saving, making payments late or timely, and wise use or misuse of credit. Current research also examines critical paths by which teens and early adults come to experience negative outcomes associated with premature affluence, a consumption oriented lifestyle, and dependence on consumer credit.
