Dr. Rugh's primary responsibilities are to oversee curriculum. She chairs the College Curriculum Council, which is responsible for reviewing all proposed course and program changes. Additional duties include oversight of the Bachelor of General Studies Program and coordination with the School of Education in preparing high school teachers who have an emphasis in the social sciences. She is also involved in special projects for improving teaching and learning within the college.

In addition to his primary responsibility as BYU’s Washington Seminar Director, Bob Goss has oversight for the Utah Legislative Internship program and individual internships earning political science credit. He is also responsible for alumni outreach and fund raising, including work with the College’s National Advisory Council and Alumni Portal, and with LDS Philanthropies.

He monitors all revenues and expenditures; ensures compliance with University policies and procedures; serves as a trusted business advisor to all within the college; and promotes and protects the economic interests of all stakeholders to our college and the university
